REINBECK — The Gladbrook-Reinbeck boys’ basketball team overcame a slim halftime deficit for a 57-45 win over South Hardin during the Tuesday, Dec. 17, NICL West clash.

The Rebels (4-1, 2-1) won the second half 32-19 to overcome South Hardin’s 26-25 advantage at the intermission.

Drew Eilers piled up a double-double of 19 points and 14 rebounds to lead G-R. Brandon Mathern made four 3-pointers on his way to 12 points and five assists, while Michael Boyd had 12 points, eight rebounds and six assists for the Rebels. Austen Mathern added eight points, and Cameron Sieh had six points.
