MAXWELL — The GMG girls’ basketball team took control in the first half and held off Collins-Maxwell for a 34-21 win in the Tuesday, Dec. 17, Iowa Star Conference contest.

The Wolverines (3-5, 2-2) led 20-7 at the half and maintained the margin for the divisional victory.

Makayla Pendleton posted up for a game-high 19 points to lead GMG, shooting 8-of-12 from the field. Skyler Murty tallied eight points and a team-leading 10 rebounds, while Rhianna Murty pulled down nine boards.
