GARWIN – GMG junior shortstop Colin Teske was named to the all-Iowa Star Conference’s South Division first team for the second year in a row, highlighting the list of five area baseball players honored to the league’s top squad.

Teske garnered the third all-conference honor of his career, earning second-team selection as a freshman before back-to-back seasons on the first team.

Three more area representatives gained promotions to the first team this season, including North Tama junior catcher Kolt Knaack and sophomore outfielder Kayler Morris. Knaack was a first-team pick two seasons ago and an honorable mention last summer, while Morris moved up from second-team honors a year ago.

BCLUW freshman Eathan Petermeier made the second team as an outfielder.
