Mid-Iowa Youth Beef Team tours Steckelberg Veterinary Clinic

CONRAD – The Mid-Iowa Youth Beef Team took a field trip to the Steckelberg Veterinary Clinic for their October 5, 2024, meeting. Dr. Kurt Steckelberg, DVM, served as our host. He kicked off the tour sharing that Steckelberg is a multi-generational veterinarian clinic that was originally located in downtown Conrad and relocated to its current site to accommodate additional staff and services. The team then toured the facilities and were able to see the various tools and equipment utilized in their practice. The clinic has incorporated numerous safeguards to protect the animals and the humans. Dr. Steckelberg wrapped up the tour by answering many questions regarding the clinic’s services and beef treatments.

The team gained valuable information regarding today’s veterinarian protocols and services. We thank Dr. Stackelberg, DVM, for sharing his wisdom and experiences to further the team members’ knowledge!
