‘Whole bunch of fun’ planned for Gladbrook Halloween
Trunk-or-Treating on Main begins at 6 p.m.

GLADBROOK – The Gladbrook Commercial Club has a whole bunch of fun planned for Halloween on Thursday, Oct. 31, from 6-8 p.m.
As part of the festivities, Main Street will be blocked off to traffic for the activities. The city library will host games (with prizes), there will be a craft at the theater, businesses will be open for trick-or-treating, and a fire truck and ambulance will be parked on the street to check out.
Trunk-or-Treating will take place on Main Street, too. If you are interested in Trunk-or-Treating on Main just drive down (with plenty of treats) about 5:30, park as usual, pop open the trunk and get ready for the spooks and goblins to visit! Decorate your trunk and dress up if you choose.
Most activities will be on Main Street but there are a couple others around town. Supper (hot dogs/chips/water) will be served from 4:45 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. at the Methodist Church hosted by the United Methodist Women. Westbrook Nursing Home and Independent Living will be open for Trick-or-Treating from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Even with all the activities on Main Street, you will have time for traditional door to door trick-or-treating. It’s a night of fun for all ages!
